Newspaper Materials
• Photoshop TIFF or EPS — 300 dpi or greater.
• Illustrator file or Illustrator EPS. If fonts are used, PLEASE make sure they are outlined.
• High-quality JPEG’s and GIF’s.
• Direct link to art online.
• User Name and Password to FTP sites for art retrieval.

Please Note:
• Art provided should be no smaller than the column width (1 column is 12 picas/2 inches
and a 2-column is 25 picas/4.25 inches) in which you are placing it.
• Providing the original artwork ensures high-quality distribution.
• Brochures, laser and ink-jet prints (computer printouts) and other printed materials can be used for
position only and originals should be substituted before final approval.
• Please do not send document files (Word, Quark, etc.) to be used as art, as they are created from a document layout application that holds art and is not the actual art file.
