Reach millions more viewers.
Get maximum media coverage for the message your management cares about most.

Free proposal:
Send us a tape (VNR or B-roll), script, press release, your Web site information or other background material and we can get you a rough cut within one week. Our writers can offer their expert suggestions that will add to pickup or create a Video Feature Release (VFR) from your background material that will get marvelous results if you approve.

CSNN:
VFR’s are written, produced and distributed in a monthly mailing on the 23-minute Consumer Science News & Notes Program (CSNN), which is played in its entirety by nearly all our users. Some broadcasters will use individual segments as filler on news shows or talk shows.

A unique video format can be created as a 60-second segment combining video—which can be taken from your existing VNR or B-roll—or animated still photos with voice-over and music. If you have a pre-existing VNR that runs 30 or 60 seconds, we can run it in its entirety, reaching millions of additional viewers. Our compositing techniques can bring new life to your video feature. If no video footage is available, in most cases we can provide appropriate stock footage.

Distribution:
We cover over 1,000 stations, including many network affiliates, VHF, UHF and cable stations. QuickTimes and PDF’s of scripts of each spot are posted on our Web site at www.napsnet.com. Broadcasters receive CSNN in any format they choose (Beta, Beta SP, DVD, DVC Pro, etc.). We also cover thousands of online publications that use our materials.

Results:
You should expect about 100-150 placements with each VFR. Colorful results reports include a graphic representation of audience data, a map showing broadcast market locations, each placement listed in market rank order, network affiliations, viewership and equivalent ad space cost. Placements are verified by usage cards signed by broadcasters. We also use SIGMA encoding to track results through Nielsen.

  • Usable media include: Playable DVD, BetaCAM SP, miniDV, SVHS, VHS. Beta is preferred and other tape formats are acceptable if these can be converted to a usable format.
  • We can transfer files using an FTP site.
  • Audio, if it is ever needed, should be 44.1 kHz (CD quality) or 48. We can accept MP3, AIFF or WAV files for media that are purely audio.
  • We can use video that is on the Web if the original source video can be supplied to ensure a high-quality
    end product.
  • The preferred format of still images is at least 300 x 300 pixels, at a resolution of 300 dpi or better.
GUARANTEE: Complete satisfaction with the results of each release or another one FREE.
